Michelle’s Pattern of Bullying & Misconduct
Independent investigations have documented a clear pattern of bullying, retaliation, and misconduct:
A December 2023 investigation found Caldier violated legislative conduct rules through “a pattern of behavior in which she lashes out at people, makes public statements that have the impact of demeaning and embarrassing individuals and is generally disrespectful,” leaving some “traumatized.”¹⁴
The investigation found that Caldier’s actions violated policies banning verbal abuse and bullying, which may include threatening, humiliating, degrading, or intimidating behavior.¹⁴
A second investigation found that Caldier retaliated against staff by naming employees who were identified anonymously in the prior investigation into her conduct.¹⁴
Caldier’s behavior resulted in having her access to staff restricted until she completed remedial workplace conduct training.¹⁴
Families in the 26th District deserve better
